Description
The in-trend quarter of Binz, in the south-west part of the city, is home to large factory halls, numerous offices, and out-of-the-ordinary gastronomic concepts, including Smith and de Luma. At this restaurant/steakhouse, the present meets the past, and a wine dealer a butcher. The premises of what was once a printing firm are now home to a restaurant/steakhouse complete with bar, event rooms and delicatessen store, all decorated in a bright, modern, industrial-chic style.
This trendy locale serves first-class wines supplied by the wine merchant, Smith & Smith, while a very unusual kind of meat ends up on the plates: its label, LUMA D.A.C., identifies it as fresh meat that has been aged using a special mold culture to create products that are incredibly tender and flavorsome. Guests can savor delicious cuts of beef or veal, Pata Negra pork and salmon, to name just a few.
Incidentally, guests who cannot get enough of this outstanding wine and meat can also purchase their favorite products to take home at the delicatessen store next door.
