Description
The building in which the present-day Rechberg restaurant is housed was originally constructed in 1837. That is nothing special in itself – but what does make it quite unique is that the restaurateurs had the idea of also serving the cuisine of the times.
On the menu is the kind of food that would have been served back in the day – local produce and ingredients, old and forgotten vegetable varieties, and meat from the local farm. However, the food is cooked using contemporary techniques, giving rise to an innovative yet traditional style of cuisine.
The list of beverages in this locale, with its pleasant decor, features exclusively Swiss drinks. A fascinating journey of discovery of Switzerland’s cuisine almost two centuries ago is guaranteed.
