The Malabar Coast – also known as the Pepper Coast – lies in Southwest India. The plants and spices that grow here also find their way into the kitchen of the Malabar in Zurich-Oerlikon. Tamarinds, ginger, cinnamon, and, of course, pepper: for every dish, the kitchen team creates a special spice mix. The innovative cuisine of the Malabar focuses on local and seasonal ingredients, and presents Indian classics such as thali, curry and tandoori dishes in a brand new light. In addition, guests are treated to Southern Indian fish specialities, as well as vegetarian, vegan and halal delicacies.
